Terms of use

Last updated 4 September 2026

1. What this service is

HackathonHub (“the service”) is an independent, invite-only index of hackathons that are publicly listed on third-party platforms. It is operated by an individual, not a company.

The service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any platform or organiser whose events it indexes.

2. We do not run the hackathons

We do not organise events, accept registrations, hold entry fees, award prizes, or form any contract between you and an organiser. Clicking through takes you to a third-party site, where that site's own terms and privacy policy apply.

Any dispute about an event — entry, eligibility, judging, prizes, refunds, cancellation — is between you and the organiser or the platform hosting it.

3. Accuracy

Listings are automatically collected copies of third-party information. They can be incomplete, stale, or incorrect, and a platform may change or cancel an event at any time without that reaching us immediately.

Always confirm details on the original listing before acting on them. The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on a listing — including missed deadlines, travel costs, or entry fees.

4. Your account

Access is by approval. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for activity under your account. Do not share access, and tell us if you think your account has been compromised.

We may suspend or remove access at any time, in particular for automated scraping of this service, attempts to circumvent access controls, or use that burdens the service for others.

5. Acceptable use

Do not scrape, mirror or bulk-export the index; probe or bypass its access controls; or use it to send unsolicited messages to organisers or participants.

6. Intellectual property

Event names, descriptions, logos and branding belong to their respective owners and appear here to identify listings. The design and code of this service belong to its operator.

Rights holders wanting content changed or removed should follow the removal process. We act on reasonable requests without requiring a legal instrument.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes and contact
